Holy crap am I just plain tired! I haven't posted in a while and I started asking myself, why? Why am I not keeping this thing up to date?

Its pretty simple. I have the idea in my head that no one is actually reading this. There is no one coming to my site and blog so therefore I am doing essentially what most crazy people do, talk to myself.

That may be the case as this blog is concerned but that same mentality holds true for many businesses with regard to their websites. The difference there is that there actually are people on the site and that can be proven just by looking at some simple web stats. So why are they ignored?

People tend to focus on bringing in more people to their site. We need to rank high and promote the site better! But what about the people that are already there? What are you telling them? Do they get there and find your content crappy?

What if more of the people already finding your site actually made contact with you? Well most businesses don't understand this basic web concept. Give people a reason to contact you on your site and pay some attention to them!
