What's a website?

Oh Brian that's simple, its that place I go to to find out more information about something.

Brian its the pages that Google takes me to when I ask it a question.

Its a jumble of images and text Brian.

What a stupid question Brian! Its our company brochure posted electronically so everyone can find it!

Brian its where I get to see a lot of nekkid ladies for free...

When I don't want to deal with anyone else because I cant find anyone that understand me, its where I end up.

A website? That's the crap we wasted $50,000 on 3 years ago cuz some geek in a ponytail told us we needed to get on the "information superhighway."

Brian a website is the only way our company is getting leads now, without it we would be failing.

I think the answer to that question can be found on a search engine no? Of all people Brian I would think you would know that...

That's AOL right?

I don't know Brian, you tell me.

If I ever, ever and I mean ever suggest that I want to watch a made for TV movie again just pull out a gun and blow me away.

I made the horrible mistake of watching that piece of crap "10.5" on NBC. Now this isn't a movie review since this "movie" doesn't deserve that much of my time.

What I wanted to talk about was the fact that a whole bunch of advertisers shelled out countless $$ to have their 30 second spot run with this piece of rabbit turd. It amazes me that agencies and media buyers would buy spots on a "movie" probably site unseen that's sold to them by some execs at NBC yet these same people have to be begged to allocate budget to online advertising! You can sit in front of these "marketers" and show them hard stats on how much more affective an online campaign could be and they still will turn around and vomit money at nonsense.

How can the networks wonder why they are losing audience share? When they churn out garbage like this they get exactly what they deserve.

I don't have a ton to post about today, rough night with a nice thunderstorm rolling through and baby Nathan waking up early for a snack...

I like the new features of Blogger especially the new templates. I am not 100% in love with the one I chose but it will due for now.
